Toronto-based Portfolio Entertainment has signed more than a dozen new deals for its children’s catalog with US streamers and international broadcasters.

New Serie Elemental Hero, which premiered on PBS KIDS in June, has been picked up by Discovery Kids (MENA), Minika (Turkey), YLE (Finland), KAN (Israel), Knowledge Network and TVO (Canada). Portfolio co-produced the 40 x 22 minute animated adventure series with Twin Cities PBS. Aimed at kids ages four to seven, it revolves around a group of super-powered kids who learn to master their abilities and save the day.

In the United States, VOD platform EntourageTV and NCircle’s BusyBee TV streaming service have acquired a live educational player Do you know? (100 x 15 minutes), as well as animated series Doki (52 x 30 minutes) and addison (50 x 11 minutes). Educational SVOD epic! also added Do you know? to its range.

UDU Digital streamer and U.S. Forces Radio and Television Service has acquired: Doki and Do you know?; animated teen comedy Carl squared (65 x 30 mins); preschool series animated by puppets Groundling Swamp (65 x 30 minutes) and Igloo-gloo (91 x 15 minutes); multimedia educational series Mack & Moxy; and holiday special something nothing (30 minutes).

The Chinese Tencent has pulled itself together addison for its SVOD platform. And TVB of Hong Kong and Russian CTC will air the fourth and third seasons respectively of Do you know?

East Timor-based broadcaster GMN TV has acquired all three seasons of The cat in the hat knows a lot about that! (80 x 30 minutes) and comedy Freakville (26 x 30 minutes).
